Pollen
Pollen has been reported to improve symptoms of chronic prostatitis as well as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). It has also shown cholesterol-lowering and anti-atherosclerosis effects in animals. The reason pollen has these effects is unknown, but it is suspected of having immunological or anti-inflammatory actions. Where is it found? Pollen is produced by most noncultivated plants. It is not clear which plants produce the most effective pollens. Some of the most common pollens used are timothy grass, corn, rye, and pine.
In what conditions might pollen be supportive?
